Sima takes its name from
Simón and Mateo.
Sima’s roots lie in Wilson Aguilar’s childhood rides: Pepe, the donkey on the family farm in San Vicente; La Castalia and La Nena; and the horses he rode in Alejandría. Then came Frenesí and the rides in Bello with his uncles Hernán Aguilar and Javier Aguilar.
His years in the United States and the Novedoso de la Seda project marked another chapter. His passion for mules grew on rides with his cousin Edison Aguilar, his wife and their young children. Garoto, Felina and the Pêga dream came next.
Today the farm bears the name of his sons, Simón and Mateo. A lifelong passion that continues to grow as a family project.
